The debate

has beat Intel to the 64-Bit cpu launch, and has put out
some impressive Opteron processors for servers. Intel is
close in the lead with its new chipset, and beefed up Xeon
processors. So which is right for you? It is so close right
now that there isn't a preferred manufacturer. With
Microsoft's 64-Bit Windows XP launch, it will be a while
before a true bench test can be made. Check back soon for a
